ST just add it already! There’s literally no downside, and it’s just ten times easier on the eyes, especially if your working on a project at night!

If anything, they should add a dim dark mode so that way people have a way darker color and background scheme to use.

Hello everyone, quick progress update on my solution-finding:

I've got a pretty good dark mode going. I'm just working on integrating it with the Scratch themes system so you can switch between it and normal/high-contrast themes. And this isn't just a mockup, this is a screenshot of a working fork of the Scratch editor.
