SPOILERS AHEAD!! IF YOU WANT TO VIEW THIS, HIGHLIGHT THE TEXT

Undertale is my favorite game of all time. From the story, to the gameplay, to the soundtrack, every little detail is perfect. From the beginning of the game, you're absolutely hooked to it. At first, when I'd even seen gameplay of it (I was 7) I thought I looked… kinda stupid ngl. one day, I was on jacksepticeye's channel (at this point I was 10) and decided to watch his videos of it and it looked SO FUN!! I actually bought the spin-off/sequel, Deltarune first because it was WAY cheaper on the switch (Deltarune is free, Undertale is $14.99 USD) but then I realized I had enough funds to buy it, so I did. and MAN, this game blew me away. I named my Animal Crossing island after my favorite area in the game (Snowdin) it was so magical playing Undertale for the first time, you never knew what was gonna happen next, and you could choose the outcome of the game which is SO COOL, most games have you play it one way, but in Undertale, there's True Pacifist, Neutral, and G3n0c!d3. my favorite outcome by far is Pacifist, I literally cried when I saw Asriel and Frisk hug it out at the end of the game. a really neat feature is the final battle is with the CREDITS. YES, THE ACTUAL, SPECIAL THANKS CREDITS OF THE GAME. that was such a cool idea, every aspect of the game is either, funny, heartwarming, or disturbing. that is all why Undertale is my favorite game of all time.

General Opinion: Sonic X is a TV show and it does that pretty well. We have some sad moments like characters that I didn’t like dying. There’s not really that much I have to say about the plot or anything, but I will keep talking. A lot of the series was just kinda mediocre and nothing was happening most of the time, it really just felt like filler until season 3. Speaking of season 3, season 3 was the best (and worst) season of them all. It’s like Sonic Prime where the last season had the most happening action wise, however it was the most repetitive season of them all with very few standout episodes that made me think “I really like that one”. My favourite episode is definitely something that I feel everyone will disagree with, “Episode 14, ‘That’s what friends are for’”. Nothing interesting really happened in the episode, I just thought it was wholesome. The worst character in the entire show was undoubtedly Chris. He was just so whiny and in general so annoying, he brought down other good characters and ruined them too. Just such a bad character, I can’t even put it into words. The most mediocre character was hard to choose, as there were many characters who don’t really do much good but not much bad. But I gave this title to the character “Hawk”, he was Knuckles friend and he was in like three or four episodes. He didn’t really do anything in the show that’s why I give him the title of “Most mediocre character” what really offends my about him though is they tried to make him a big deal when he’s quite the opposite. The best character is one people with have different opinions on so I’m just going to say it’s MY favourite character IN THE SHOW, like my favourite character in the whole franchise is Tails, but my favourite character in Sonic X is Shadow. Many characters who I like are made worse because of Chris, however Shadow didn’t seem to be too affected by him. He ends up being one of the most likeable characters in the show because of this. Also, I’ve never really had an opinion of Shadow up until Sonic X, I really liked his character.

Now it’s time for what I like to call, “Who was made worse because of Chris?”!: Literally ever character was in some way, some more than others, so I’ll just say how Chris made them worse. Sonic was way too friendly to this brat, I’m surprised Sonic even became his friend because of how annoying he was. Anyway, Sonic spent a lot of time rescuing Chris because he can’t do anything on his own. Tails was made worse as he was basically replaced by Chris, being Sonic’s best friend, even being the technician in the final season (although Tails still helped with that). Knuckles, I don’t remember. There’s so much more but I don’t care enough to finish this.

Problems with characters:

The girl characters and Tails (excluding Rouge): Something that I noticed with Sonic’s girl-friends is that they don’t really do much with action including Tails, which I find kinda funny. The only exception is Rouge, she must’ve intimidated the writers.

Sonic: Sonic is just too lazy, he only really does things when people are in trouble, meaning the episodes really just revolve around them until they get into trouble. Also, in the last season was the Japanese voice actor too expensive or was just on vacation? As Sonic seems to either get launched into space, fall off the ship or get injured. Leading to Sonic being absent until the ending of the episodes. (Pyra rant time over).

Knuckles: Knuckles is too angry in the first season, although that doesn’t really bother me.

Chris: Everything.

Cosmo: She was too nice, although I’m just running out of ideas at this point.

Chris: (okay fine, I’ll give him a fair shot) It just feels like he takes the role of other characters, trying to be what those characters were created for.

Tails: Tails literally had no action scenes besides from the fight which the winning prize was a chaos emerald, and saving a zoo (wow) or I guess fighting Shadow but that’s all. Also, literally everything about him was stolen from him, being Sonic’s best friend was taken by Chis, being the mechanic was taken by Chris’s Grandfather Chuck, and Chris in the final season. Poor guy was just a pilot. That’s all he was.

Amy: She was one of the only females on Sonic’s team that actually did stuff. But she was kinda just… too in love with Sonic. It was kinda annoying.


In conclusion, Chris bad. This series was overall pretty decent, but did very little to keep me engaged. Will I miss this series? No. I still have to watch it again in Japanese, please help.

Overall I’d rate Sonic X a 1/10, it features Chris.
