My Chemical Romance- Band
Hey everyone,ok ik this isnt mcr related but fob new single?????yeah this isnt mcr related.
i expect a 500 word apology.
I want to start by offering a genuine apology to the entire community here for my recent post about Fall Out Boy in this My Chemical Romance forum. I realize now that this space is specifically dedicated to celebrating MCR—their music, legacy, and the community they've built—and I completely understand why my post felt out of place, and even disrespectful, to some of you.
When I made that post, I wasn’t trying to stir anything up or derail the focus of the forum. I was genuinely excited about something FOB-related and didn’t take the time to consider whether it was appropriate for this particular space. That was careless on my part. In hindsight, I should have found a more suitable forum or sub where that discussion would have been welcome and relevant.
I now understand that this community exists because of a shared passion for My Chemical Romance, their unique sound, and the impact they've had on so many lives. This isn’t just some general “alt rock” or “emo nostalgia” space—it’s a place where fans come together to talk specifically about this band, their history, their music, and everything that surrounds them. That focus is part of what makes this forum special, and I recognize that posts like mine can detract from that purpose.
I also want to acknowledge that while Fall Out Boy and MCR may be part of the same broader scene or era, they’re not interchangeable—and treating them as such is disrespectful to what makes each band unique. I get that now. MCR has always had a distinct message, aesthetic, and sound that deserves its own spotlight without being overshadowed by tangents about other bands, even if those bands are great in their own right.
For those of you who were frustrated or disappointed by the post, I hear you. I didn’t mean to ignore the forum rules or community standards, and I appreciate those of you who called it out respectfully and helped me see the issue more clearly. Going forward, I’ll be more mindful about what I post and where I post it. I want to respect the space you've all built and the tone you've worked hard to maintain.
Again, I’m truly sorry for the misplaced post, and I appreciate you giving me the chance to apologize and learn from it. I still admire MCR deeply—and being a part of this community is something I value. Thanks for reading this, and thanks for keeping the forum focused, passionate, and respectful.
Sincerely,
