Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
Trying to contact Yuan won’t get us anywhere. I don’t think he ever had any records of how his website was used and as said prior it was both a MP3, OGG, and WAV converter and a CD ripperUpdate: The topic for the Sound Effects may actually be useful for this topic in the case of Xylo 1 & 2 as so far 2 CDs have been confirmed to be used for the sound effects (A Sound Ideas CD called The General Series 6000 and the Hanna-Barbera SFX library CD) and these aren’t obscure CDs, these are mainstream CDs so in the case of Xylo 1 & 2 being a CD lead, look for mainstream xylophone CDs first instead of obscure ones.Or try to contact Yuan, which is harder.
If we do decide to look on Sound Ideas, look for their CDs from 1990-2000 as General Series 6k is the source of Meow and also was released in 1992. Also try the internet archive first cuz the CDs ARE PRICEY! (Upwards of 30 dollars and general series when not on sale is almost A THOUSAND BUCKS!)

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
can anyone help check sound idea’s loops? they have some available for listening (not for downloading tho cuz you have for pay for a ✨license✨) the main purpose for this tho is to see if we can find Xylo1 and xylo2 cuz of the possible CD lead and the fact that so far 2 CDs have been confirmed to have been used for the sound effects in the scratch library

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
looking back at this, I definitely think it was originally made to loop but I guess whoever on the ST didn’t like the cutoff part so they deleted the extended bit leaving the one we have in scratchout of curiosity are we sure triumph/ win battle is the full version? sounds like it cuts off before more plays to meI'm not sure. From what I know, that's the version that the artist sent. I thought that too, but it might have been designed to loop?

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
something abt the original search that makes me go “why?” was the fact it took ALMOST TWO YEARS TO ACESS SAMPLENET when someone could’ve just typed it into the wayback machine and gotten results

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
Update on sonicftp:
I don’t know if this is true or not but SonicFTP is likely a FTP folder registered under sonic (DISREGARD, SONIC IS AN AMERICAN NETWORK PROVIDER NOT A UK PROVIDER). as I have found multiple other wayback machine websites with sonicFTP in their names and it is likely that Swirly Jungle/BigKat may have not originally came from samplenet (similar to humanbeatbox1 and hip hop) but an external source (as also I had pointed out earlier that the samplenet had file names different from the actual title names)
Update2: Yes, SonicFTP is actually an application used for those files. SonicFTP is actually the application name and not the real artist. Apologies for the mistake

bump (could the front page be edited to make samplenet the current known artist of BigKat? cuz sonicFTP is the application name used and not the artist)

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
I’m gonna take a break from searching for the current lostwave 1.4 loops and gonna search for the true original source of BigKat

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
Theory: Drip Drop, Xylo3, and Human Beatbox2 may come from a FTP folder website as BigKat doesn’t show any metadata when downloaded from Samplenet’s SonicFTP folder and guess which other 3 loops don’t have actual metadata? Drip Drop, Xylo3, and Human Beatbox2.

has anyone noticed that the loops in 1.4 are the most highest quality than their versions used in 2.0 and 3.0

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
I just noticed something
Every dance sprite that has dance celebrate (except for champ99) has the same image on their shirt, this means dance celebrate could be in a dance performance led by champ99, or some other event. We just need to unpixelate the image on the shirts.

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
I just noticed somethingI’m gonna try to do some research on that logo but as far as we know champ99 is a scratch team member & he has a project with the sprite of himself in it (As pointed out by funcupcake in the scratch illustration search topic)

And I don’t think champ99 is related to that “event” as mentioned because Cassy is just a picture of her from a earlier version of scratch 1.x (and I think the same for Amon) and ballerina is just a vector sprite and they all don’t have that logo

They also have a hip-hop program that teaches children about dancing and music so maybe they have the loops used to teach the kids?

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
Do y’all think this could be the way we find the dance tracks?
Wigglyjoey, ur absolutely mastermind for pointing that logo out if so.
Now after that, we just can spread the word that Andro1t never made the tracks
