Are "Comfort Me" projects allowed?

For those who don't know, Comfort Me projects are projects people make when a user is sad or depressed, and they write why they feel this way in the Instructions section. People remix to show their support. An example of Comfort Me projects can be found here.

Credit to @Anahita35 for the project.

So here's the question: Are these projects allowed?
Which is, will it get taken down by the Scratch Team or be marked as NFE or anything?

I can’t say for sure, but I’d imagine it depends on why the user needs comforted and how much detail they’re going into. For example, if they’re struggling with serious mental health problems Scratch would likely take it down and suggest other resources to get help. If it’s a problem with Scratch or St, then it’s better to use Contact Us to get the problem resolved. It kind of depends on the individual circumstances I think.

hmmmm…

I feel like it's not necessarily against the rules. Personally I'm fine with them, but if you are asking because this could be a form of “attention seeking” or spreading negative energy, then I think that's a valid point. Depression is a serious matter though, so it's probably best to treat all of them as true instead of being skeptical. Yes, it's possible some might do it for clout, but mental health is no joking matter. If you encounter projects like those, it's your choice whether you want to uplift the user by commenting or instead choose not to say anything if you can't help but feel skeptical. One thing is for sure, we should all refrain from posting insensitive or invalidating comments.

I think it's best if a Scratch Team member answers this because I could be wrong.

It is when a project gets marked “Not for everyone” instead of “For everyone” (FE)

I feel like some of the contents in those “comfort me” projects would be concerning to some, and it could also be seen as exploiting the system because people might love and fave it a bunch, and people could use that to get popular, and it would be against the “be honest” CG

specifically, it makes the project unable to be added to the front page and unable to be found through the search bar

go see a therapist
Please don't be rude. Saying “Go get a therapist” or something similar is considered rude as it means to call a person has a mental ilness.

they would have cured racism or world hunger if people can just “not be sad”

to op, i think it'd depends on how the user is. if they are just sad from losing a friend, i think i'd be alright, but stuff like trauma might be too much for scratch, and st will take it down along with some links to help resources

You are not as edgy as you think you are by saying this. This is a constructive forum; Posting here requires decorum.

Anyway…

I'd say it depends on the reasoning for the project's creation. If the person in question is talking about something serious like self-injury, that wouldn't be permissible and should be reported, but if someone just had a generally crappy time with their math homework or something else that isn't too serious, then it wouldn't be an issue unless guilt-tripping is involved (In which case, the guilt-tripping should be reported).

Hopefully this helps
