A different default thumbnail when you set the thumbnail

So, a new thumbnail button came to scratch, it makes the thumbnail a scratch cat in the white backdrop as default, but it has some problems:

1. it isn't very creative.
2. It isn't very appealing to your eyes.

So, a solution will be like making a new default thumbnail like default pfp or studio thumbnail, and add a line telling you, you didn't add a thumbnail, so then there's a better placeholder for new projects.

If you are looking for a mockup, look at this:

Support. This could prevent confusion and also adding onto your suggestion: maybe a line of text saying you haven’t set a thumbnail on top of the default thumbnail idea you suggested would work?

Hm, based on the image in the announcement, I feel like this wouldn't be that helpful. The button is right there on the same page as the share button, so it wouldn't be that confusing.

Well, if you go to your saved projects, you may get confused at first.

Projects made before the update keep their thumbnails though.

I know, but what about people who join on the day they add the button? or when people save old projects?

I know! It could have no thumbnail at all! It could just show the inside of the project!

Like when you don't have any project thumbnail block

Yes but what about the new projects, or people who join scratch today?

I don’t think that’s needed. The default thumbnail isn’t meant to be creative; it’s the default. The button to set the thumbnail is easily visible. New scratchers might not understand it, but that goes for a lot of things. I’m sure they’ll learn quickly

Well they just used a scratch cat in a white background, it should be like the profile pictures and studio thumbnails which are all unique
