Cannot upload sound
Check the sound file size, if it's over 10 MB then it's too large for scratch to handle

Cannot upload sound
Showing results for Why can't I upload a sound?
Search instead for Cannot upload sound
Chrome 91 is outdated, use a different browser.
What is your statement?
The sound upload dialog does not appear.
Try using a computer, maybe because your mobile device does not support it? I can see you're using a mobile phone.
I can see the upload window but it won't upload the sound.
Scratch only supports MP3 and WAV files. For the best experience, use MP3.
Scratch does not support OGG, FLAC, AAC, MP2, etc. You can no longer import an AIF file (since that format is outdated).
It imports, but the sound length says 0.00, or they crash Scratch
Try using another audio file.
It imports, but the project won't save
Your audio file exceeds 10 MB. That is the limit of how big file sizes can be. Try compressing it.

KB means kilobytes. Kilo means 1000. Giga definitely means more than 1000. So, either your file is too small, or it's your device or browser.Yay! Kumquat Check the sound file size, if it's over 10 MB then it's too large for scratch to handle
