When you import a sound, it expects a image.

My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 139.0.0.0, No Flash versions detected
so ye, when you import a sound, it expects a image.

weird…. i think u used image files like this:
.png
.jpg
.jpeg
.webp
.svg

I don't think that this is happening to me. “Custom Files” lists sound file extensions for me. I'm also able to upload sounds
Anyway, what Windows version are you on in case it matters
