New Services

Staff: Our biggest upcoming feature by far is our new Staff replacing our inactive and unorganised system of Leaders. Members of our future staff will be tasked with different duties, each based on the job they chose. Along with me as the “Do-it-all” studio host, we'll have (hopefully ) ACTIVE Scratchers monitoring the Dashboard, Comments, and Studio Projects regularly, in search of projects/advertisements to give some helpful feedback to. Hopefully, this will help solve the problem of us missing projects posted in the studio that needed views and support. Now, you are welcome to help out with this too! Unofficially, you are always encouraged to help review projects posted in the studio or advertised in the comments, but you may also want to make this completely official. Project Feedback Corner (PFC): So, what's the new way to get some helpful feedback on our projects? With the new update, you are still welcome to add many of your projects to the studio. These will be much more actively monitored thanks to the actions of our Studio Projects Support (SPS) which you can learn more about in the topic about Staff linked above. Now, you may also have a select few projects that you're really proud of and that you want some super helpful feedback and support on in particular. For these, please head to this forum topic, the PFC, and post links to these select few projects as well as a short description, and the Dashboard Team (DT) will make it our priority to give you constructive feedback and support. Of course, you are also still completely welcome to advertise these normally in the studio’s comments section where the new Comments Patrol (CP) will see it. USS Help Page: The Unnoticed Scratchers Studio (USS) is also launching a new help page. This is a forum topic where you are invited to ask questions about Scratch or our studio, request a custom tutorial, and get some help from us on coding your projects. You may also still ask these questions in the studio’s comments section where the new Comments Patrol (CP) will see it. https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/831662/

Chat: For now, the studio’s comments section will remain the chat, but I am open to suggestions on whether you guys would like a forum topic for a chat instead, and if you’d also like a “Question/Topic of the Week” to keep the chat active. It’s up to you.

Monthly Member Shoutout: Every month, both the curators and the Staff will have a chance to receive a Monthly Member Shoutout! This comes with a free follow from me as well as a shoutout in the studio’s description. To be chosen, you must be a constantly active member, and I mean ACTIVE. This includes adding your projects to the studio, posting some on the PFC, and keeping the chat busy. Remember, you have a chance to win this every single month!
