Here's a question that boggles my mind about Scratch.

“What is the name of Scratch Cat?”

I would really like to know what it actually is.

Just “cat”, I suppose.
The mascots aren't given many details about who they are so it's left open to interpretation so Scratchers can share their own creative ideas about who they may be.

As far as I know, Scratch Cat doesn't have an official “actual name”. In projects, the Scratch Team just refers to them as ‘Scratch Cat.’ But of course, you're welcome to make up a name and have your own interpretation.

Maybe “Scratchy”, really its just “cat” as seen in the costume library

I don't think theres like an actual name for Scratch Cat. He just goes by Scratch Cat. He could also be named Cat since that's what he's called in the project editor. You could also give Scratch Cat an actual name, that would be cool. Up to your imagination and what you want to do.

Scratch cat is a character with no canon info. It can be called scratch/cat/scratch cat or maybe even Arnold.

Scratch cat could canonically have a family member or friend of sorts (WITH A NAME) as one of the scratch team accounts has this account. Also scratch cat might as well be his actual name judging from the fact the ScratchCat account is named that (it’s also treated as his name too) and is ran by a scratch team member.
