Oh I did not see that

I'd suggest putting it under the edit dropdown if it isn't a button - Solves any clutter problems and makes sense.

Also stops you from having to stop the project while it's running to go to the front page and press the button - stoping the project resets graphic effects and deletes clones, so that wouldn't be ideal.

It just came up !
But, what a bummer to not have it in the editor… Why should it be only in the project page ? There is enough space between the Start/Stop buttons and the Fullscreen ( and Mini/Normal size ) button(s) in both the project page and the editor
