Use this for send sprite to back:

go back (10000) layers //optional. you can change the value.

And this for send sprite to front:

go to front

Make art in vector mode so the selected shape can be sended back or up (in layer terms) with the buttons with an arrow placed down in the tool bar.

Okay, if you mean in art, select the thing you want to send back in vector and select the little list with the down arrow on it on the toolbar. In coding, this block takes something to the front of EVERYTHING unless something else also goes to front.

go to front

And, this one sends things back.

go back (any amount of) layers
