Opacity?
I support this! Some projects may want to have assets with transparent parts (personally, I want the ability to make object show assets with some opacity to them), so having an opacity slider would make this easier!

There is a [browser extension] that does exactly that.That is true, but can you please edit the post to avoid mentioning it? The extension policy says you can’t mention browser extensions on Scratch.

support, ghost effect cant make patial transparency (where some of the costume is transparent and when some is different)

Somebody pointed out the ghost effect but that only effects the entire sprite, ergo you can't make parts of a sprite semi-transparent unless you use multiple parts

And semi-transparent stuff is solved with an option to adjust opacity in the costume and backdrop editors!

there is technically a workaround using large gradients and the reshape tool, but i support adding a slider as the workaround is complicated and not very known, and adding an opacity slider is very convenient and good for art
