Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
yo so xercyn in the link for the gloob(ic) website containing the original versions of their songs is actually the name for Jeff Lieberman’s YouTube channel
UPDATE: CHAT I THINK I JUST FOUND ONE OF THE LOST MEDIA SONGS (not pralax and gyrow tho
). THERES A YOTUBE CHANNEL CALLED GLOOBIC (LITERALLY THE GLOOBIC) AND IT HAS JEFF LIEBERMAN IN ITS ONLY VIDEO AND THE MUSIC IS BY GLOOBIC ( https://youtu.be/43yUOQ47Du8 ) {btw, it’s unlikely it’s music for nothing as it appeared to have been released in 2010, whilst the video was released in 2009}

Wait I think I found the origin for Drip Drop! It seems to be in Got Inspiration by Braiden Ramsey, around 35 second mark
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cw8vqz0L92c
EDIT: nevermind, seems to be just a mix of random sound effects

(he’s low-key annoying)Wait I think I found the origin for Drip Drop! It seems to be in Got Inspiration by Braiden Ramsey, around 35 second markthis is the third time this has happened (First it was dance, then it was gay, and now it’s got inspiration {which I’m pretty sure is named after the vocal track by the same name from scratch 1.0}) edit: BAHAHA GOT INSPIRATION IS BY THE SAME GUY WHO MADE GAY

yeah figured that out
chatgpt seems to think drip drop might be from samplenet, which was a sound archive that no longer exists

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
If it was from samplenet we would’ve been dead and this search would have more lost media. Like really. Most of samplenet is lost media and a lot of the songs that lack a page but have an audio file are in a very small .ra file (which basically means we can’t even get VLC to play it) and as far as we know, the only songs that were on samplenet were hip hop, jungle, and human beatboxing 1 (which all have been found, with human beatboxing 1 being found in a sample cd archive cause it’s page was gone)idk if this is a remix or not, but youtube has an extended version of drip drop that also has bird sounds? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usDahg2l5f0Silvagunner![]()

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
They actually ripped loops from CDs to post on the internet. Samplenet played a role in this search cause it was found in the metadata for the tracks I mentioned above and someone found the internet archive page for it so it was just a short while until they were found. There were a ton of loops on there but few were archived in listenable files.

[UPDATED]
hol’ upSo the “Sounds of Scratch 1.4” album was a compilation album put together by djdolphin after having contacted Beau Silver. So it wasn't made by Beau Silver directly, if that clears anything up.
-snip-
i think I’m onto something.
Also ChatGPT is usually going to be useless at stuff like this.

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
New Theory
Drip Drop, Xylo3, Human Beatbox2, Xylo 1, and Xylo2 may be the only tracks to have had issues with the scratch sound library so they edited them. As Voxalice stated in topic 1, the hex codes in the metadata were from the sound check feature by iTunes, and the sound check is used to make sure the volume of the tracks are the same as other tracks, and earlier in topic 2 when I had discovered that AltoMP3 maker, the cd ripping software used on Xylo 1 and Xylo2 had a MP3, WAV, and OGG converter, adding a new lead that it could be from somewhere online, Combining the fact that the hex files are from iTunes evening the volumes and Scratch 1.0 used MP3 (ties in to the converter discovery) leads me to believe that they are all from online, but were edited to fit Scratch 1.0 and that Xylo1 and Xylo2 are possibly more likely to be from a website, and not a CD.
(Also kinda off topic but imagine if a Christmas miracle happens on Christmas Eve where we get the answer to some of the tracks that seemed impossible or hard to find on the 6th anniversary of the search)
