^^^giving kids harsh punishments may lead to worse behavior, depression of not being able to work on something they were working on, etc cetera. idk really how to explain what I mean, but treating kids like criminals is a bit harshThat's called a slippery slope fallacy, kids; as well, you're basing arguments on “if” or “might”.
I've been IPd in the past, for doing bad things- of course, I've changed since then, but now I know not to do stupid things. Honestly, I'd rather not get messages while under ban, because I would just feel even more left out. And from this personal experience, I know that nobody's got crippling depression from being blocked from a kids' website.
I support only if you are restricted from using community functions (using an account, visiting forums, etc.)
shameless reiteration

Support. Just don't allow them to share new projects, or comment or post on the forums until the ban is over.

What I suggest is that the ST adds a new level of banning. We have temporary bans, which are usually for first-time bad actions; we have permanent account bans, which are for really bad things over again; and we have IP bans, which are for banned users who make a new account to continue wreaking havoc.Isn't that basically muting?
A new level of banning, before temporary bans, would be “sharing bans”. That is, if you've done something lightly bad more than once, you're blocked from sharing projects or commenting or posting, but you can still look at projects, work on projects that are unshared, and love or fave (when signed in).
I personally have never been banned, so I don't know the frustration involved in a temporary ban; but I think this new level would reduce the frustration while still clearly showing that it's punishment.

In my opinion, I find it a tad unfair that banned users can''t view ANY of the site. I mean, what if they were working on a big project? it would be ncie if they could work on it, but not share it, as some people don't like the offline editor,How would they even download it to the offline editor after they were banned?
And, it would be nice if you could still view/favortie projects! Like, there is no harm in viewing stuff, right? Just not be able to comment

Add the ability to create projects as well (unless they where banned for sharing bad projects) and I'm in.

The slippery slope is not a fallacy. It can be used fallaciously, but that's true with anything in the realm of logic.^^^giving kids harsh punishments may lead to worse behavior, depression of not being able to work on something they were working on, etc cetera. idk really how to explain what I mean, but treating kids like criminals is a bit harshThat's called a slippery slope fallacy, kids; as well, you're basing arguments on “if” or “might”.

You should be able to view projects logged in and get a download of your existing projects to work on offline. There's no point in punishing people extra for storing their projects online instead of offline.
