Also I recently rewatched the Rodrick Rules movie at a party with a whole bunch of my family friends, it was actually a lot more hilarious than I remember it being.

The books are amazing… when you read it in 5th grade. I used to be obsessed with that book. But now it is kinda boring but its not bad. But everyone has different opinions what can I say?

(same problem with the prev book) Party Pooper (Coming out somewhere in october i think)

I loved the first 10 books but ever since the wrecking ball it was just random and weird, not even in the relatable way. In the deep end a 3 year old drives off a bear and drives a van to save a bridge. None of that is made up.

I always thought that that was because Greg realised how “boring” (from his perspective) his life was, and since he wanted the journal for when he's rich and famous, he thought it wasn't good enough, so he embellished the truth for the sake of the jounral.

None of that is ever said, though.
