we could try to plan something out, like a checklist for things we would like done this summer, so that we aren't just “doing work” and we know what we need done

we need to edit the plot outline so hard, we're not satisfied with how it is now

ok we were thinking, to make the story more full, we draw attention to the physical struggle in addition to the emotional struggle of kaj's attacks by occasionally focusing on different groups of scratchers that survive the destruction and how they survive
