To prevent spam of Scratch History questions, here are some answers of the questions people may ask.
1. What was Cloud Data made for, when was it made, and what was it oringally called?
Cloud data was first made so others could see the way you used variables, and the same way in reverse. (correct me if I'm wrong) Cloud data was made in an early alpha in late 2011, according to the Scratch Version Archive, and was first called Persistent Data. Another thing that tells you they were called Persistent Data is the line of code in the Project.JSON: isPersistent=
2. What was Scratch first called?
Building Block Programming
3. Has there really ever been an early alpha of Scratch 2.0 written in Squeak?
We don't know. There could be one lying around somewhere.

2) Wrong. Building Block Programming is a completely different language. I managed to see it's site in 2005 on the Wayback Machine.

I think it was that person who we saw on SVU Episode 5 who said that they founded scratch in 2002… Cant remember his name…

I haven't seen anyone ask these questions ever. Add some of these for sure:

2) Weeknend by andresmh. However, if you're talking about the first project EVER, there was this project on the ScratchR alpha site on the wayback machine called “Lil' Devil and Angel”. I checked the URL and sure enough, it had an ID of 1. (Don't search it up, it's not on the site)

2. It turned into Scratch, but they decided to carry the oringal project for a little longer

It's 2001 (Scratch 0.01 NOT 0.1), but the video only goes back to 2004 (Early 0.2 prototypes and 0.2 actual release (which is what I have)) and later (1.0 betas)

2) Really? The earliest I hear about scratch is from 2002. I also downloaded a scratch proposal pdf on my tablet.
3) At least we have AS3 (but I would prefer HTML5 or JS). Squeak is based off early 80s technology.

I thought 0.1 was in black and white. And the video says 2004 while 0.1 is from 2003…
I have Scratch 0.2, stil want to get my hands on 0.1 and maybe even 0.01.
EDIT: The default sprite was the early version of the Scratch Cat, while in 0.1, it is a car.
