[Read OP] "set cursor to" block - Featured as "not rejected" on TOLORS
I like this idea, as computer programs that switch to different mouse pointers depending on what you are doing have an appeal to me that I don't know how to explain. However, I think that sprite costumes can also be used as cursors. Here is an example:
I support this idea either way!
when green flag clicked
switch mouse cursor to costume: [costume1]
I support this idea either way!

I like this idea, as computer programs that switch to different mouse pointers depending on what you are doing have an appeal to me that I don't know how to explain. However, I think that sprite costumes can also be used as cursors. Here is an example:Please read the original post. You clearly haven't. I see that you are new so let me clear up some terminology: OP means original post (i.e. the very first post in the whole thread.) TOLORS means The Official List of Rejected Suggestions, which is its own forum thread and contains the list of rejected suggestions by the Scratch Team. It's a sticky, so you should find it relatively quick.when green flag clicked
switch mouse cursor to costume: [costume1]
I support this idea either way!
Anyways, you should read TOLORS before suggesting anything to ensure that you aren't suggesting something that has already been rejected, and I can see that you have suggested that we should have custom mouse cursors based on sprite costumes, which is a rejected suggestion, and the Scratch team won't implement it.

I'm just saying it's a possibility, I'm not dumb, It should keep the cursor in it's current costume if it's being told to revert to a blank costumeWait- what if someone uses a blank costume? Please read the original post, you seem to misunderstand what I'm saying. Also, please read TOLORS.

They said to read the OP. This isn't about switching the cursor to a costume, that's rejected, and therefore it isn't a possibility.I'm just saying it's a possibility, I'm not dumb, It should keep the cursor in it's current costume if it's being told to revert to a blank costumeWait- what if someone uses a blank costume? Please read the original post, you seem to misunderstand what I'm saying. -snip-
css allows “none” as a cursor
maybe we could manage to get this added anyway
Please read the op, because I said that “none” will specifically be hardcoded to not work
