{Scratch Team is} more interested in seeing Suggestion posts work to make the suggestion better rather than show support or non-support.
Although a polling system might help decrease the number of unconstructive posts, it doesn't really encourage anyone to think constructively — and we're more interested in constructive posts than we are in the results of any forum polls.Source
I believe this would directly go against this. I know this quote is for polls, but I don't see much of a difference? It's still saying, “I support this” without any feedback

Please no. I like the forums becuase (almost) no one cares about fame here. Adding this will destroy that.
