Sorry to critique all your predictions but…
Just use the turbowarp application for linux
It's called liquid glass
Windows Servers are Windows, theres no difference other than the installed software
Ubuntu is based on Debian
Why don't you like Animated Profile Pictures?
…and those are my critiques

I predict that there will be some tracking of which assets assets are based on, so that if you modify someone else's asset it will link it to them.

Haven’t they already started working on that? I predict that there will be some tracking of which assets assets are based on, so that if you modify someone else's asset it will link it to them.

this is a bit of a far-fetched theory but: i predict 4.0 will be based on 3.0 instead of being yet another complete rewrite (given that the st is still working on it on the public github repositories and stuff. and they're working on major refactors as well, like moving the editor stuff into one repo)

major refactors as well, like moving the editor stuff into one repo)There does seem to be a closed rewrite of the website underway – probably not to change styles but still a rewrite – at least according to this is a bit of a far-fetched theory but: i predict 4.0 will be based on 3.0 instead of being yet another complete rewrite (given that the st is still working on it on the public github repositories and stuff. and they're working on this PR. Editor will probably remain untouched though
Do you think there will be a web version of Scratch 4.0? Also highly unlikely they will use liquid glass theming unless they make a native mac app or mimic it in the browser Here is the list of all predictions:

imagine using webgl to render a website … highly unlikely they will use liquid glass theming unless they make a native mac app or mimic it in the browser

(#9)some people have made websites using scratch (or its derivatives like turbowarp) and that renders with webgl so that might countimagine using webgl to render a website … highly unlikely they will use liquid glass theming unless they make a native mac app or mimic it in the browser

I don't think it will be called “Scratch 4.0”. It will probably be “a new (major or minor ) update to Scratch 3.0” or “Scratch 3.1” (or Scratch 3.3 as the offline editor is 3.29.xx)

I totally agree with you. I think that everyone that expect something incredible will be strongly disappointed. In my opinion, it will just be a Scratch 3 rework finally updating the website to 3.0 design. I don't think it will be called “Scratch 4.0”. It will probably be “a new (major or minor ) update to Scratch 3.0” or “Scratch 3.1” (or Scratch 3.3 as the offline editor is 3.29.xx)

the st has referred to it as 4.0 multiple times I don't think it will be called “Scratch 4.0”. It will probably be “a new (major or minor ) update to Scratch 3.0” or “Scratch 3.1” (or Scratch 3.3 as the offline editor is 3.29.xx)

Right. However I think it will just be an other version of 3.0. A good example would be the PS5 and the PS5 pro. They’re not identical, but there isn’t a very big gap between them the st has referred to it as 4.0 multiple times
