This suggestion is to prevent unwanted notifications in the first place, not the option to only see certain notifications in the messages tab. we already have this now lol

Also, you can't multi-select what types of notifications on the messages page. The dropdown only lets you pick one option. This suggestion is to prevent unwanted notifications in the first place, not the option to only see certain notifications in the messages tab. we already have this now lol

Support; I personally check my messages mostly just for the comments(I feel they're far more constructive than a simple love or fave), so allowing greater customization in which message notifications users receive seems like a solid proposal.
In general, I'm a fan of proposals like this that allow user experience and interaction to be customized to a greater degree(eg. more options for sorting projects in the search bar), though I understand that implementing them bears the risk of steering Scratch's social interactions towards a more typical social media environment as opposed to a more casual space that may be better suited and more intuitive for children's education.

I'm going to bump this with a talking point about other suggestions that add more notification sources being able to benefit from this.
For example, there was a suggestion to receive update notifications from favorited projects. That sort of suggestion would definitely benefit from having a toggle, like this suggestion would add.
