its a team-based fighting game
the main difference is phighting is a deathmatch and in splatoon you have to cover as much land as possible

There are lots of similar modes though- like escort is basically tower control, conquer is splat zones (aka typical capture-the-zone gameplay)

i starting playing it a couple days ago and i am ADDICTED………….
mostly play as scythe, subspace, and skateboard (and sometimes sword. only sometimes)

i played this game on console for the first time recently…
oh my holy FRICK it was awful
i play vinestaff and ong. i could hardly even beat doomsekkar.
i then tried to play scythe and banhammer. slightly easier.
attempted to play biograft. was a bad idea.
oh and skamtebord actually wasnt that bad. wouldnt use him in battles yet, but i would use him to get around the map.
