i know some people who follow wayyy over 1k people just cause they're nice and wanna follow everyone they think is cool

No! I love to follow people, I'm not a spammer or something, but I just like to show my appreciation for other people by following them. Like chessdragon255 said, maybe there should be a limit to the number of followers per day.
