REMOVE THE FOLLOWING LIMIT
WHATS THE POINT OF THE FOLLOWING LIMIT
I f4f and the following limit can make it hard. Also free follow accounts are unable to do anything w/ it
Why do we need the following limit

Free follow accounts are banned, and mass f4f is not what Scratch is made for.

REMOVE THE FOLLOWING LIMIT
I don't see a world where a person who doesn't f4f or have a mass following account would need to follow ten thousand people. Besides, if we remove it, ddos attacks could occur.

REMOVE THE FOLLOWING LIMIT
No support.
- “Free follow” accounts are banned
- Scratch was not designed for mass f4f
- Removing the following limit could result in DDoS attacks (as many people can just continuously bot-spam follows if the limit is removed, putting strain on the servers)

I never seen any account reaching the limit, so I don’t see why we should increase it

10,000If you're F4Fing 10,000 people, you may want to consider taking a step back and maybe not asking for more? I think 10,000 is a more-than-enough number for the average Scratcher. I doubt you'd meet that many people during the average time period spent on Scratch.

A limit is good so that folks don't “try to beat the high score”. Scratch is for learning and sharing and expressing your creativity - not for trying to beat some arbitrary number. We would prefer to see Scratchers working with Scratch projects than trying to get the most followers or become the biggest follower.
It's also better for the database if the number of relationships are limited. It takes processing power and storage space to maintain all the relationships in Scratch. It's a good idea to cap them at some number that works well for most Scratchers.
