It is truly infuriating how I cannot add curators. The class I am in is 2 years old and yet, I will stay in that class for the rest of my accounts activity and will never EVER be able to add curators. I can't even add managers to add people for me. This is honestly one of the worst updates to school accounts I have heard. I just want to be able to leave a class so I can add curators again. Is there ANY way to be able to ADD anyone to studios or is this just an update to prevent school accounts from adding in general

i believe this is due to spammers finding vulnerable school accounts to use for stuff like spam remixes and inappropriate studios

Yes, you can do it, and there are certain ways to do it. You first have to go search Blockertodate on the wiki. There will be an article saying to go to Blocker Studio. It will Have a button to add studios. Scratch team left this in as a tester for the feature, so yeah, just go to my link and you'll be all set! [/scratchblocks}

I would honestly recommend you make a new account not affiliated with a school if you can.

Then… why did you say it?

If you're planning to use Scratch long-term after the class is over, I would recommend making a normal Scratch account and moving your stuff over to the normal account since your student account may be deleted by your teacher at any time. Students accounts were never intended to be a permanent fixture.

If you go into a project, you can download it in the “File” dropdown (“Save to my computer”) and then on a new account, use “Load from my computer” (Also in the “File” dropdown)

On your current account, open a project -> File -> Save to your computer -> Save the file to your computer. Then on your new account: Create project -> File -> Load from your computer -> load the file.
