As a colorblind person, I can't see links
I know this is an old post I'm responding to.There are at least two possible solutions to this that don't require changing the purple color:What about in the forums if you underline all of the text?
- Links could be underlined.
What if I make all my text purple? Can you tell what's a link and what's not without hovering over the text?
If the purple looks gray when you remove the saturation, change the actual gray text to black. Not only would it solve this problem, it'd make the website look sharper as well.

Exactly! Finally! Someone gets it! On the change header color in user settings suggestion I literally said the same thing! That is pretty sad, and I can see how hard it must be. What color does it have to be to make it easier for you to see?
Yeah, it sucks since this update was supposed to HELP people who have trouble with colors. I only have trouble with blues, purples, and different brightesses of them like black, gray, whites. Literally any other color is better or having EITHER the blue or the purple darker/lighter than the other one.

THIS is why we need dark modeThat might not be the issue though. The problem is that the purple links look like the text color to people with tritan colorblindness or achromatopsia

this is why we should have the ability to customize different colors for scrunchYou should’ve said bump before this or after this but yeah, I agree we should’ve had the options for all that.

as a person with glasses, my glasses are broken. What’s so hard to understand XD you would be able to swap between them. What about Royal blue? The color mentioned in the OP of the royal blue suggestion looks very similar to both #0000cd and the “@medians color”, both of which @cheddargirl stated were not good for brightness sensitivity.

It's hard to explain color to people who can, so I lowered the saturation to try to show you that the purple color is too dark and does not contrast enough with the regular gray text. I can still tell what's a link and what's not after being on here for 8 years, but it's very hard for me to tell because–if taken away the color and set everything to 0 saturation–you can see that both colors have almost exactly the same saturation levels, making it harder for blue-purple colorblind people like me to use Scratch.I'm colorblind too! though I can see links its hard for me to see the difference between black and grey (which isn't a big deal) so I support!
