Ok, I get your point, but how would search querys work?

I've no idea, since I'm not into website forum building.

However, to repeat what I said before, most forums of any use have such a facility as standard, it's part of the underlying basic software you used when setting up the forum in the first place. I don't expect you have to write much code to implement it, just flick a switch.

search for the forums used to exist, but it is now unusable
it is technically still there because if you click “Show new posts since last visit” it has /search/ in the url

ScratchDB is now down, and it may be a nice idea to bring that feature, you can find dupes, but mostly you can find necroposting areas.
EDIT: Ocular AND ScratchDB is down. Now I found this (the website is broken since 22nd of may), this and this. You can use them if you want to for now.

Nah, the certificate for ScratchDB is down, so Ocular can no longer pull data from it. You can still go to its website and bypass the warning screen. Ocular should be working fine afterwards.

By the way, I just tested this, and it works
My browser / operating system: Windows 7, Firefox 139.0, No Flash versions detected
