Here at the Scratch Lab, what really makes us shine is our team of staff. Our amazing members make our shop great, and if you want to join us and help other Scratchers, you can read these requirements and see information about being staff to possibly get the rare achievement of being part of the Scratch Lab Team!

Staff Requirements
➣ You must have at least 2 projects
➣ You must provide at least 2 work examples, which are projects that show your experience and skills
➣ Your account must be at least 2 months old.
➣ Your form must include “water”, hide it decently well.
➣ You must be reasonably active on Scratch.
➣ You can only apply for a chief position when you already have some experience as a regular worker.

Staff Member Rules
➣ You must be respectful to all customers and staff
➣ You must be active and respond to activity checks*
➣ You must snip** on long quotes
➣ Please try to bump only when the topic is not on the first page or if it has not already been bumped in the past 24 hours.

Owner
Holds all power over the shop, makes big decisions and announcements, and controls the flow of the entire shop.

Co-owner
Holds a lot of power in the shop, their job is mostly to maintain the flow of the shop and make some decisions

Secretary
Holds some power, but mostly, their job is to notify the owner and co-owner and carry information.

Working at The Scratch Lab
When working at the Scratch Lab, we have high expectations for our staff members, but here's how working at the Scratch Lab works!

When you see an order, first:

1. Check if the order is taken.
Check posts around the form to see if anybody has quoted the order and taken it. Flip through the next pages and be thorough when making sure.

2. Check details.
Make sure the order follows all requirements, and if there is a preferred worker, if that's you, feel free to take it, but you don't have to, and if it's somebody else, you should check with them, but you can still take it. If you feel like an order should be denied, then you can do so yourself, and it will be up to me to review.

3. Take the order.
If the order is valid, quote the order by clicking “quote” at the bottom of the post and write “Taken,” or something similar.

4. Work on the order.
Looking at the specific details, work on the order, not rushing through, and making sure to keep the order's quality. It's okay if you pass the deadline, and you can submit the order late, even though it should be avoided.

5. Submit the order.
Return to the order and look at the “where should we contact you?” section. Find that place, and give them a link to your completed order. Make sure it's shared and ready. Along with it, please kindly ask them to fill out a review form as it helps the shop.
