Books with neurodivergent characters
I know that the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and a lot of the books written by Rick Riordan have characters with ADHD, dyslexia, Autism maybe, People with disablitlys, and queer people. I would highly recommend these books for someone looking for books with diversity.I was about to say Percy Jackson, where almost all the main characters are neurodivergent

Books with neurodivergent characters
Yello! This isn’t a book, rather a tv show, but it does have several characters with disabilities. It’s called Transformers Prime (one of my MAIN hyperfixtations), and it is AMAZING. Has great action scenes and a darker storyline (while still remaining kid-friendly), and the characters and their designs are incredible. Several of the characters (even if most of them are alien robots) display signs of disabilities without being directly stated. One of them human characters (Rafael) shows some autism traits- with one particular clip of him having a tiny meltdown after there was too many voices yelling at once. Another one of them human characters (Miko) had ADHD symptoms, with hyperactivity and impulsivity being the most prominent. Meanwhile on the actual Transformers side, one of the characters displays signs of PTSD, another is a involuntary mute (if making only beeps and whrr sounds count as muteness)- and one of the opposing side characters is a selective mute (who has only one EPIC line in the entire series). A few others display anger issues, and one particular character has severe (implied) PTSD and anxiety. So yeah. Sorry for the rant, but I * L O V E this show even if you don’t like Transformers please give it a shot with an open mind (first season can be found on Netflix, the rest on youtube)

Would highly recommend good different by Meg Eden kyuatt, it’s good but it’s probably one of the most realistic depictions of autism in a children’s book.

Has anyone read The Ostrich and Other Lost Things by Beth Hautala? I met the author last year and she signed my copy. Great book.
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time IndianThat book was hilarious (at times)
The main character had suffered from seizures. The book contains swear words though

Books with neurodivergent characters
For any books with neurodivergent characters. The books don't have to explicitly state the characters are neurodivergent, it can just be what you believe. Anything that falls under neurodivergent is allowed.
The Percy Jackson series has characters who have ADHD and Dyslexia c:

Devils Like Us by L. T. Thompson – one of the main characters has ADHD, as does the author. It's a queer YA historical fantasy novel (this character is also trans, and the other two main characters are sapphic) and it's very good.
