It doesnt lag it freezes the game because of an error

Interesting. it seems like there's a .toLowerCase() for changing the language to lowercase, but doing “.toLowerCase()” on a number causes the crash

I made a PR to fix it, although it's highly unlikely they're going to merge it anytime soon https://github.com/scratchfoundation/scratch-vm/pull/5426
