1. I’m Emily (she/her) a high schooler in EST. I like reading, swimming, anything STEM, art, crocheting and writing. Looking forward to being a part of the gothic leadership team!!

2. I really like willow’s idea about a mystery for the campers to solve and I think we could have a lot of fun planning that, other than that I can’t think of any ideas right off the top of my head right now

5. I’m generally open to anything and I’m willing to make pfps and banners if nobody else wants to do them

i'll answer them too!

1. hi i'm willow (she/her)! an australian teenager that using the aest timezone! I love music, stem, writing and reading! I play a few instruments including trombone and guitar, and love artists such as billie eilish and lana del rey! I'm so excited for this session too!

2. I've got more ideas, but I think i'll share them all once I hear everyone elses!

3. yep! I'll make canva related stuff in a bit <3

4. I do! and i'll make an anonymous document, we can use this for keeping track of task and sorting campers in wcgs!

5. I can pretty much do anything and am flexible! Depends on what you guys want!

also emily, i've offered to vi (@violent-measures), and snowy is still deciding! so for now it's just the two of us, do you have any new ideas? for now we can just decide the theme, and hopefully by the 25th we'll have everyone and can officially choose a theme!

i do have a few ideas for the theme! we could do a mansion, i was thinking something like the addams family one, where we could do the mystery kind of thing like clue or we could go a different route. or we could do a gothic library maybe where the campers uncover things in the books. i also have some ideas for the some specifics for the initial theme but I’ll save those for until we decide what the cabin theme is.

hi guys!!! im SO excited to work with you guys, this is gonna be so fun <3

1. I'm niko! I use she/they pronouns and am in the (b)est timezone. I love rock climbing and anything outdoors, really. I also really enjoy going thrifting, reading, baking, and sewing! I'm currently learning guitar and struggling through my last few weeks of school

2. I love the idea of it being based on clue! it would be cool if at the end of the session the campers make an accusation like how you would in the game based off the clues they figure out throughout the session.

5. I don't have much of a preference, however, I probably wouldn't want to make the pfps. If you guys want to work on the thumb and banners together on canva I'd be happy with that instead of assigning it to one person

Heyyy, I'm Snowy (she/her)! I'm a Singaporean-American-Swiss bookworm, writer, baker, soccer player, pianist, etc. I'm in Singapore (SGT/UTC+8) at the moment, but I'll be in the US (EST) over the summer, starting in mid-June. I love The Hunger Games and I Fell in Love With Hope, and I'm also a massive Gracie Abrams and BLÜ EYES fan. I also like to crochet while watching improv comedy, hehe <3

Aaa, everything shared here sounds so cool <3 I love Clue! It's one of my favorite more-well-known board games. Seeing as I'm a massive board game nerd, haha, I love lesser known ones. I can't think of anything at the moment, but I'll definitely let you all know later!

3. Do you have a non-doxxing Canva account?
I do not, but I can probably pop on anonymously every so often

Same here — I don't, but I can get on anonymously occasionally. However, it's still a little bit tougher for me to do off-site stuff. If it's helpful, I can do the word counting on my own separate sheet, because I feel bad making you all do the work-

Like I said above, if I can help with the word counting, I'm happy to do that! I will have you all know that I'm horrendous at design and art, sobbing- But I am always happy to give feedback

so now it should just be a sibling trio with apocalyptic and mystery (we aren't sure if mystery will be ally or an enemy sibling) - is everyone good with this?
- also for planning for siblings, can you guys plan on the purple place, if not we can do forums)

sci-fi has offered to be an ally- should we still offer an enemy position?

it's great to see you guys all love the clue idea! i think before we get into the details of planning that we should choose a theme/setting

does anyone have any ideas?

also what is everyone really good at here (probably like everything bc you all are so cool) but like in terms of graphic design, art and coding… just so we can sort out everything - but again… you guys are SO COOL so probably like everything ahah xD

sibling trio is so exciting!!! I don't have too much of a preference if we do ally or enemy siblings, and I can plan on forums or other place.

hmm I'd be okay being allies with sci-fi, but I might be leaning towards enemies since we get four allies and four enemies, and we have more potential allies already set up (unless we do enemy siblings with mystery)

theme planning

I'd love having the setting be a mansion/manor and including a masquerade. as for the library, I think we can find a way to incorporate it, for example, having it be a room the campers can explore via a project one of us post, or even as the wcg

this is just an idea, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, but if we have the setting be a manor throughout July, we can have campers unlock more rooms and receive new riddles and puzzles in each one. these rooms could be based on clue or just made up by us

skills

I have some experience with graphic design so I'd love to contribute to that. I don't really have a way to do any art right now so not that haha and I can do some coding but it's not one of the main thing I'd like to do

I don't know exactly how this would work but I could also do some music-related stuff for example, if we wanted to set some atmosphere I could work on sounds that would play throughout projects?

Yesss, this sounds great! I think enemy siblings would be really funny, but ally siblings is also great, so if that's what you all would prefer, then I'm good with that as well!

As for with Sci-Fi, I agree with Niko here

Theme Planning
Oh my goodness, a masquerade would be so cool- Again, love what Niko said here! We could probably also involve other (co)leaders to give the campers riddles and stuff, maybe? I just woke up, sorry, I have no idea if what I'm saying makes sense, ahaha

Besides a library (or maybe combined with it??), I also really want to include the study as a room, because I've always felt it's super creepy but cool

Also, one thing I did last session with the Fan-Fi Battle of the Bands was switching the thumbnail as we switched realms, so maybe we could do something like that as we progress through the rooms? Although that does mean more work for us, haha

Alright, so like I said before, I'm rather horrendous with graphic design and art. I mean, I generally have an idea for what looks good, so I can give feedback, but I really struggle with putting things together in the first place (like starting from nothing). Besides that…I can write? And I also can play a bit of piano, which isn't super crucial but could be good for, atmosphere and stuff in the projects? Especially since we want to build a mood/tone for this, given the theme

Other than that…yeah, not stuff that's super useful for SWC, ahaha- There's a reason I almost exclusively do SWC

I also think that mystery being the enemy sibling sibling would be a fun dynamic. As for sci-fi, I also agree with Niko. Sadly, I don’t think I can plan for siblings on the purple app.

I like the idea of a mansion/manor with a bunch of different rooms to explore. Thinking ahead, I feel like having the different rooms would be easiest to adjust if the cabin ends up not completing the storyline on time? I’d love to hear opinions. Also, maybe if we wanted to include the mystery aspect of clue, there could be an event that happens during the masquerade that the campers will need to investigate? I also like what Snowy mentioned about the (co)leaders giving out the riddles or stuff, they could be people attending the masquerade (if we decide on that), living in the mansion, etc. maybe?

I’m comfortable with coding projects as long as they aren’t EXTREMELY complicated. My drawing skills are pretty okay, I can do pfps if no one else wants to. I’m generally okay with graphic design, so I can contribute to that as well.

we could definitely have it set as a masquerade in manor, and i love the ideas of the other rooms - like we could have it set out like clue's board- and then we could use this in the storyline and also incorporate the study and library ideas! the thumbnail switching rooms also sounds so cool ahah

also yes- the idea of bringing in other (co)leaders to help provide clues or stuff, and them being guests is such a good idea!

what could we call the cabin in general, like gothic masquerade (maybe something more creative)…?

I think hostile neutrals would be more fun, but friendly’s fine too. Maybe we could get Script as an ally? We could also offer thriller for enemy since Zy mentioned about having 3 enemy slots open.

I really like how the theme is going!

I can’t think of any ideas for names right now (I’m tired from studying for exams), but it would be cool if we had something poetic or mysterious for the cabin name.

Also, I have exams this upcoming week during Wednesday-Friday so I’ll be quite busy. I’ll try to check in when I can!
