EEAAO would have fit in perfectly fine as the plot of a Ms Marvel movieThe Daniels should not be constrained by the MCU, their ideas are too distinctive.They co-wrote Homecoming. So the quippy comedy action would be good.They should let the guys who did the DnD movies make an MCU movie.Because the MCU doesn't have enough quippy action comedies.
The ideal directing duo I'd want on an mcu project is the Daniels, but that'll never happen.

I’m not defending the casting because it is pretty stupid, but RDJ is part Romani and Latveria obviously doesn’t exist.I heard that, but later they apparently said something about him playing Iron-Man. Either way, Doctor Doom is half Romani and half Latverian. RDJ is European. Doctor Doom's origin is literally tied to his ethnicity.He is not an ironman variant, according to the Russos he is playing Victor Von Doom.Exactly, Magneto is tied to his ethnicity, this is like if they were to cast Doctor Doom as a white pers- oh (I know RDJ is possibly playing an Iron-Man variant, it's just an example).I don’t have a big issue with race swapping professor X but Magneto already has an extremely important ethnic identity.I think Jeff Sneider might just be full of it because Denzel Washington as Magneto does not sound like it’ll work.But Professor X is Martin Luther King Jr. and Magneto is Malcom X and Denzel Washington played Malcom X so it makes perfect sense! /j

ISlightly hot take but wanted to share this, an actor playing an ethnicity with cultural, ethnic, and genetic similarities, shoudn't be a big issue. The idea that Daniel Day-Lewis would play Magneto might be the funniest thing I've seen. Daniel Day-Lewis has only made two movies with Martin Scorsese, why would he sign on to make infinite Marvel movies where he'll be working with such auteurs like Shawn Levy?
