Obviously, if they're rude, they should be reported. But another issue is the common practice of spamming, and there's plenty of it everywhere. I'd say to implement the option to flag a comment for being spam, that is if there's a comment(s) just like it somewhere else. It wouldn't have a consequence as severe as being reported for an inappropriate post, but it would be useful to cut down on spamming.my argument: If comments are rude, then why ignore them ? shouldn't they be flagged* ?The only problem I see is letting you troll in my topic. Yes, I do. You have the option to ignore a user, in which the server covers up any post/comment/project by that user, and to show it whenever. In that case, it solves the problem of not seeing content that could be harmful. Should the content be harmful, it is reported normally, evaluated by a moderator which can add that comment to a blacklist, and stopping any comment from being the same as it. Should the content be spam, well, that's explained already. But realize that the whole is made of three thirdsmy argument: If comments are rude, then why ignore them ? shouldn't they be flagged* ?Obviously, if they're rude, they should be reported. If you see what I mean.
The three ideas here make up the whole, which is a better commenting system. It can potentially eliminate most bullying, slow down spamming, and satisfy users who don't want to see certain posts.

I think it would be bad if a user gets banned for having too many ignores. Some restrictions to prevent trolling:
1.) The ignores have to be a certain percentage of different IP addresses. Let's say, 90% of the ignores come from different places.
2.) The total ignores have to be a high number, since percents in low numbers may be VERY fickle.
3.) Only full Scratcher's ignores count for this- if you want someone banned bad enough, you could make spam accounts.
4.) Instead of automatically banning them, have the computer send a report to the ST on it.
5.) The user has more chances of being banned for trying to use blacklisted comments.
These are the restrictions I would place if I was to implement a system of banning based on ignores.

I think it would be bad if a user gets banned for having too many ignores. Some restrictions to prevent trolling:Updated. This time, users aren't banned for being on Ignore lists, they are simply ignored. And a blacklisted comment will get blanked out and auto-reported if it is posted, increasing the likeliness of a block.

I think it would be bad if a user gets banned for having too many ignores. Some restrictions to prevent trolling:Personally, I don't think anyone should be banned for being on an ignore list. That person could only just be annoying and not breaking the rules at all.

- The ignore list would keep everybody on the same page, but yet not show what you don't want to see.
- An option to report a comment as spam couldn't harm at all (unless you see something non-existant).
- A comment blacklist would help stop people from saying bad things while letting all good comments through.

Next time you try secret messages, I suggest trying the transparent color. Much better.
Also, I believe whoever said “My forums” meant to say “My thread”. It's a common mistake, you don't have to write “Secret” messages about it.
Anyway, +1!
