This is possible with [unnameble addon]It is also possible with Turbowarp, though it sorta shortcuts it by adding [folder name]//[sprite name] and then displaying folders based on this, without actually adding anything to the edtor- more like a gui addition.
Have I said that I supported this yet? I don't remember. But I do. I do support.

I think you should also be able to have folder variables, that only show in that folder, kinda like local variables

i think this would very useful for tweening animations because there are often many sprites that are for different characters. it would allow for a perfectly compact area that i can open to adjust the sprites. in conclusion, i support!!! :3

Support! Helpful for groups. This might also be implemented with blocks (see below), but even if it isn't this would still be helpful for easy navigation.
