I say that the “featured project” section of your profile page can be set to automatic or manual. Automatic means that you can choose on how your featured project is chosen (eg. most loved, most viewed). Then if a project gets more love/views than your featured project, the featured project will be replaced with that other project. Manual will be exact same featured project behaviour as right now.

Good idea, not sure how useful it would be. dvd4's point is valid. It is easy to change it manually.

Generation 379: the first time you see this copy and paste it on top of your sig in the scratch forums and increase generation by 1. Social experiment.
