(A familiar face stands in the doorway in front of you. Silent and a tiny bit unsettling. Just as always.)


(A moment passes before they speak up.)

Hi, Crys. I thought I would stop to visit you. I hope you do not mind the company.
May I come inside?

Of course! Come in!

(She opened the door further, gesturing you to enter.)

Please don’t mind the mess- I wasn’t expecting Guests-..

(As she said this, she had walked to a table infront of an old couch, gathering a few things and taking them to her kitchen.)
(And She came back.)

Make yourself comfortable, do you want anything?

(They walked in slowly as you darted around and rearranged your items. They stop in the middle of the room, awkwardly standing in front of your couch.)

Nothing in particular. …Perhaps a “snack?” That would be nice.

(He paused again, looking towards the floor.)

…How have you been holding up? As of recently.

(She curiously looked at you after finishing up.)

I've been well! Just bored simply put.. You're my first visitor in.. a few weeks.

(She frowned for a moment, then lightened up again)

What kind of snacks would you like? I made a batch of cookies earlier.. Would you like some? Or can you not eat baked food like Coagulated? I have raw meat in the fridge if that's what you prefer.

(She reached to pet Bingo on the nearby cat tree, who was fast asleep.)

What about you? It's been awhile. Anything going on?

I found something…strange. Familiar, even. But maybe it is best I leave that to myself.
Other than that, nothing. Time is passing as it always has been. And I feel no different.

(And so she went to the kitchen, bringing back a plastic container of them. Handing it to you. )

I see. Have you heard about the big expedition to go find Jasmyne..? I heard it’s a big deal according to C.

(She sat down on the couch now, Bingo getting up to lay on her lap.)

Anyways, what brings you around here? I don’t usually see you around this part of town.

(He sits down as you do, cookie box in hand.)

I have heard many things, yes. But I have my own circumstances to take care of.

I came around, because…
Well. I do not believe you have heard, but the local people have locked off my house.
So I will be staying here for the time being.


At least I feel slightly better now, going outside for the first time in a long while.
I was always under that roof ever since I'd found it.

Oh I see.

I have an extra room if you need it, but if you prefer a different apartment I’m not going to nag you.

In my opinion, Isolation is.. well.. not the healthiest. Even for you. I dealt with it for awhile before I finally came to meeting people.

(She fiddled with her crystal hand.)

I’m glad you’re feeling better, I understand you must be upset about your home.

It is fine. Many times I've had to leave a dwelling of mine. It seems I can never stay too long in one place.
Such is the state of things. For long and for ever.



(They stare at the ceiling for a moment, before turning to look at the purring kitten in your lap.)

Hm. Is this the companion animal I have heard about?

Oh- Yeah!

(She began to pet him.)

His name is Bingo. I found him, or actually- He found me. And I took him home. He's amazing, especially when I get to feeling lonely.

(She looked to you.)

Thank you for stopping by, by the way. It's been a few weeks since someone has visited me.

(She pondered for a moment.)

Do you plan on staying here?

I will stay here for as long as I must. If circumstances call for it, I may leave.
Whichever direction i'm taken, that way I'll go.

(They look towards the door for a moment, then back at you.)

…Maybe it is time for me to depart. I may be bothering you.

You're… Not bothering me, at all. But if you wish to leave, I won't stop you. I do enjoy your company.

(As she got up, she picked Bingo up and placed him back on his tree)

Is there anything you need before you go?

Nothing in particular. Perhaps I will take a cookie with me.

(They get up, taking a cookie and tucking it into their sleeve(?) They walk for the door, before they stop for a moment.)
