Nope- the project doesn't know what to do with the inputs from the Wii remote.

Nope- the project doesn't know what to do with the inputs from the Wii remote. Can't you map a controller to computer inputs if it's wired? I have a Logitech controller and SayoDevice O3C with me that I've mapped to some games.
Edit: This method can't be directly done with only Scratch, but it still works.

I had a friend who was able to connect a control he made. Using Wii will not work- but you can use Microbit to create one. It’s really hard and you can’t do much but it’s really fun if you like making difficult challenges. I can’t even connect the Microbit to the computer.

I am sorry if this counts as necroposting (I am unsure), but Turbowarp has an addon that does just that. Just download your project, open it on Turbowarp, and map the keys to your computer. I might be recalling some details wrong, but the gyroscope will not work. Also, make sure you have the addon (not extension).
I hope this helps.

for basic controls, yes. you can load a web browser on an xbox and the controller acts like a mouse. you can't directly turn buttons into keyboard inputs without 3rd-party software tho

iirc they use BLE so you should be able to connect it to your computer, and then make a simple script using the web bluetooth API to update some variables based on the inputs or whatever.Wii remotes can't be wired to a computer directly.Nope- the project doesn't know what to do with the inputs from the Wii remote. Can't you map a controller to computer inputs if it's wired?
