How do I make a good clicker game?
Hey everyone! I am obsessed with clicker games, and know lots about them and how to create them. I’ll take you on a step by step guide with 6 tips on how to make your clicker game THE BEST!
1. Make your buttons SATISFYING to CLICK ON! As you know, a clicker game is just… well, a clicker game where you click buttons and other objects. An action so simple that someone wouldn’t get dedicated and addicted to clicking the button further. So, to make the players ENJOY clicking your button, make it satisfying! Add an animation, shadow or other things that may make the button look COOL!
2. Make the game EXTREMELY PROGRESSIVE! People love clicker games because of the progression! You start by clicking making $1 a click, and soon… you’re at a billion! I suggest adding lots of fun upgrades to your game, like exponents (which are REAL good for progression lemme say), multipliers, speed and much more!
3. Add FUN BONUSES to your game! If you are looking for a nice stretch to EXTEND your clicker game, just add some things people really like in clicker games! Like promoting, prestige, animals or something that progresses you even FURTHER through the game!
4. Make a nice thumbnail!! You need good and nice-looking thumbnails, as that is the first impression people will get as they SEE the THUMBNAIL of your GAME! If you make it satisfying, and good-looking, then people click on ur game!! Then they play it. Cool
5. Jump straight in! Don’t make the game boring by making it take a LONG time to start progressing, instead make it so the player starts progressing their points and clicks quickly into the game, JUMP STRAIGHT INTO THE ACTION! However, don’t make extremely quick progression. That’ll make your game NOT FUN and TOO SHORT!
I hope these tips have helped to make ur clicker game the best it can be! Pls check out my account, I hoped you like this post! Enjoy everyone

How do I make a good clicker game?
Hello! It's great that you want to help out other Scratchers. However, I think we have enough guides in the forums at the moment. Please feel free to welcome new Scratchers on the group welcoming topic or on individual topics created by New Scratchers.
Other places that can always use more helpful Scratchers like you, are the "Help With Scripts“ and ”Questions About Scratch" areas - please use them as designed, by responding to topics created by folks with problems to solve
Finally, a really good place for Scratch guides is the Scratch Wiki - check it out and see if it's something you might like to work on. They have a number of guides - and great organization.
