what are the april fools pranks going to be soon

I'll move this over to the Questions about Scratch section for you - that's a better fit for this kind of topic

There will most likely be a April Fools themed SDS ( Scratch Design Studio ) coming out on April 1st, as @ceebee and some SDS Curators have changed their profiles to different pfp art of other managers.

April Fools' Day pranks are not typically announced before they are carried out.

we don't know yet, other than the semicolon glitch (which i think is guaranteed) and an april fools sds.
if this year's april fools studio is kumquat themed, i'd be shocked..

well, if they were revealed, that would just ruin the surprise.

let's just say don't be too disappointed if there aren't any, as there haven't been in previous years.

I can't say much for the Scratch website, but in addition to the normal set of joke articles we do every year, we have a really funny one planned for the Wiki.

Anyway, it probably won’t be anything too grand. Maybe a few announcements and projects but not much else.

The reason I say this is because this is what happened last year (if I remember correctly).

The Scratch Wiki is going to do an April Fool's joke, I think. Also, I think there will be an April Fool's SDS, as all SDS Managers have changed their profile pictures. Scratch isn't going to reveal any of the April Fool's Pranks yet, though, as that will ruin the surprise.

Yes we're doing that, but we have another joke planned that hasn't been publicly announced, unless someone leaked it.

I really do not believe that the Scratch Team though will do anything for April Fools after 2023 and 2024 honestly. In 2023, people went crazy (I noticed this), and in 2024, there was only stuff that happened automatically. Is there any PRs for April Fools for this year? I cannot find any.

There has been AfD in previous years, just not really in 2024.
