I just remembered…
About a month ago, my grandad took me and my brother to get speakers at a second-hand shop (because my brother wanted a real speaker and not one of those knock-off ones).
When we were there, I noticed something felt…different.
I turned around to where the games aisle was…
…and I saw it.
I saw megamix.
I was surprised because only around 1/2 people I know have at least heard about the series, meaning most people I know don't know about it, so it was a shock.
However, I already owned a copy of megamix so I did not need another one, so I left it there, but it was the most surprising 10 minutes of my life.
(and yes, it was the european release)

I came home from school and decided to look at news about games…
and when I saw that it was getting a new entry, I immediately became overwhelmed with happiness.
I have loved the game since 2021, to the point where I drew tiny pictures of the characters all over stuff I made for school.
And now we're getting a new game.

I am way too happy right now

edit: saw the trailer, it looks pretty odd compared to the other rhythm heaven games. anyways, here are my predictions for the games:
ring hop: tutorial game, like drum practice or rhythm test
cat hop: set 3 game, sorta like shrimp shuffle
bird migration: set 1 game, flap with the others to go forward
can stomp: set 1 “factory” game; think built to scale (ds) or screwbot factory. possibly first non-tutorial game
cooking show: set 2 cue game
jump rope: endless game, tempo gradually increases
grasshoppers: set 2 keep the beat game, includes 2 tempos to play with, like tap troupe
fruit with the guy: either endless or set 3 game, press a twice in a row to bounce an apple, there will be a different thing that needs a different pattern. there will be a ringside reference, possibly in the remix for the set it appears in.
there will be a karate man game, but i dont know what the gimmick will be or whether it will even be at the end of set 7
the credits game will be at the end of set 8
the medley remix is most likely going to be at the end of set 10, but could be at the end of set 8 like how tengoku had remix 6 be the medley

in celebration of groove's announcement i finally bought a replacement battery for my ags-101 so i can play rhythm heaven silver on a backlit screen! hooray

honestly i'm kinda glad Groove isn't coming until next year so i actually have a chance to buy switch 2 games, because if it was coming out soon i would have to buy it instead of anything else
