WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE SPAM?
Has everybody been seeing this dude giving a github link over some accounts comment sections? He appears to be spamming yet he is on multiple who know’s many accounts. If somebody does not sort out this some people might begin to spam too.
It needs to stop.
This man needs to get off Scratch at all costs before things become worse, you know it.
Edit: By the way, I am not trying to cause panic or anything. I am just being serious because we are talking about a popular non-for-profit kids coding website here.

WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE SPAM?
I became aware of it a few hours ago. Definitely report those comments. The link goes to an executable that steals account usernames and passwords. The repo has been reported as well as the PythonAnywhere account used to receive the info.
Thanks Geotale for doing the decompilation

WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE SPAM?
Do you think ST are aware of it yet?
I think they are, however, somebody else said on another post: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/813430/
That they also had it and reported it, was also a hijacked school account.

Do you think ST are aware of it yet?I think the response tends to be pretty quick, a lot of spam messages means potentially a lot of reports (and that could result in automated moderation actions). I don't know if they do but I'd say it's likely.
