I think the red soul can't be Determination since that's the substance thing that all human souls have that lets them exist after death and save/load. In the same way that the Integrity soul makes the soul demonstrate Integrity by following the rules of gravity, the cyan and orange attacks make the soul demonstrate Patience and Bravery by waiting and moving respectively in order to avoid damage, and green attacks demonstrating Kindness by healing you despite being an enemy, the red soul demonstrates Freedom by giving the player uninhibited movement through the box. Freedom is also quite an important thing in these games, though it's not really very prevalent in Undertale in the same way as in Deltarune, so that's kind of a hole in this theory.
To be honest though, I'm starting to feel like Control might be a bit better of an answer. All the reasonings I gave in support of Freedom still fit pretty naturally with Control, and it also fits better with how Frisk and Kris behave in relation to the soul.

Anyways back to the topic of DT Soul (kinda), do you guys think that the SOUL colors actually have traits coordinated to them or do you think they just have colors? I personally think they don’t have traits since ball game is the only thing that “confirms” SOUL traits, plus the Determination thing we talked about earlier.

go fast, get rewarded with a colored flag, flavor text (about the flag and basically the soul trait - like Patience is Cyan if i recall, Bravery is orange) and some G.

though unless i'm recalling wrong - determination is never said by any of the flags, no? although there is a red one, it never specifies determination…

Red can move freely, Yellow can shoot. Green has a shield, purple can move on strings. and blue can have gravity.

So basically, the blue souls' special ability is having gravity like a human.

I wonder how the battle would look on the map.

And I'm guessing that with the purple soul, Frisk is climbing spider webs like rope?

I always assumed Frisk was less climbing it and was suspended in spider webs, kinda worming up it, lol. Though climbing makes more sense seeing as the speed is pretty quick when you switch between lines, lol. Btw TheAutoCorrectingCat, whats the farthest you've gotten in UT so far? Don’t wanna spoil much with SOUL traits and that stuff
