Mistyped URL to TurboWarp, worried about getting hacked.

So on my new project: “Scratch Radio Project”, it had cloud variables and I went on to another browser and put it on TurboWarp, however, I mistyped the URL, and it lead to a website with a black background with a white outlined button saying “I agree that I am a human”, I was in horror, I closed the page. and it had the project ID, I worried, that I might at risk of getting hacked, so I am reporting this to the forums.

I want anyone who has had the same issue or a Scratch Team member to give me information.

Don’t worry, you won’t get hacked just because of a website.

Don't try to go back to the website, but what you're describing seems to resemble a CAPTCHA, which determines if a user is a robot or a human, typically to prevent bots from entering a website.

If you are a bit paranoid though, you can pass the website link through a scanner like virustotal to see if anyone else had flagged the website.

It seems like the button was like a Captcha, did it look something like this?

Effectively, the website turbowarp .com is a fake virus alert.

The CAPTCHA asks you to allow notifications. After allowing notifications, the website goes full screen and displays fake “virus detected” pop-ups.
The site will also send you notifications to make you believe your computer has been hacked, with the sole purpose of getting you to download an antivirus program, which is actually malware.
No need to worry - if you haven't downloaded anything, there's no chance you've been hacked.

Also, make sure you type the correct URLs to avoid ending up on sites like this one.

Since this is resolved, I'll close it to help highlight the answer and prevent future responses. If you need it re-opened, though, you can report this and ask.

Did you type in turbowarp.com? If so, the correct URL would be turbowarp.org.
