How do you download Scratch 1.0 for iPad?
I don’t think you can? If it’s made for windows it (probably) won’t work for mac. Same for iPad, iPhone, Android, etc.

I'm not sure if it's possible. Unless you can figure out how to run a windows file on ios.

Are you talking about 1.4? Because if so then Pyonkee exists, and you can buy (yes, buy. it's paid) it directly from the Apple Store without any modifications on your end.

You cannot run Scratch 1.0 on an iPad naively, unless you somehow manage to port a Squeak VM to Swift or Objective-C.
As mentioned above, squeak.js.org exists, however the GUI of Scratch 1.x was not designed for mobile devices, and if you want to run Scratch 1.4, Pyonkee exists for that purpose.
Scratch 3.0 was the first version of Scratch with mobile support of any kind.

(#2)There is a macOS version of Scratch 1.4, but it will not run on Apple Silicon, and especially not iPhones or iPads.

It also fails to run on anything newer than 10.14 Mojave, due to the removal of 32-bit support.

There is an Objective C SqueakVM. That is precisely what Pyonkee uses. Pyonkee is open-source. You could totally build a Scratch 1.0 for iPad.

…And pay the $100 annual fee to have an Apple Developer account and put the app on the App Store, otherwise it's pretty much impossible to run.You cannot run Scratch 1.0 on an iPad naively, unless you somehow manage to port a Squeak VM to Swift or Objective-C.
