EXACTLY!!! I feel like I am listening to a real human sometimes! An official SynthV cover of copycat is out (by Circus-P) and it sounds so… human! It's incredible indeed! She really has come far! ^^i am going to get cooked for saying i like normal synths more than ai synths because of it’s natural robotic sound
like synthv is all great with it’s enhanced smoother voice and all but i still prefer things like cevioai (it’s smooth but still somewhat robotic) or just plain old vocaloid (+ utau)
like the fact you can distinguish vocal synths from actual human voices is what makes vocaloid vocaloid imo
while they’re marketed as “realistic human voice” (which needs a lot of great tuning), they still have that natural robotic sound (compare GUMI V6 and GUMI AI and you’ll see) and i like that honestly.
it’s also easier to differentiate vocaloids/utauloids than to differentiate synthvs

I agree too! Your point makes a lot of sense. I myself love Teto's UTAU vb instead of the SynthV for that exact reason. It maintains the robotic noises in her voice and I love it! <3

Yep! I mean, Teto's voicebanks just feel different from each other while Gumi's sound like there's better mic quality from one another!

I've decided to introduce you all to a utau i made for christmas last year (i think thats when i made her? i dont remember i have to check later)
this is teen singing tattleTAU (tattleTAU for short)
shes a special japan exclusive tattletail waygetter japan made in colaboration with ameya (the ppl behind utau), her gimmick (bigger tattletails have some sort of special thing i'd like to call “gimmicks” – for example, mama tattletails gimmick is being a storytime cassette player thing. like teddy ruxpin.) is a kareoke machine, she has a CD player thing on her back.
this is the 3rd redesign shes gone thru. if you want me to show the 1st and 2nd designs i can.

I recently saw that Hiiragi Magnetite released a new version of “Zaako” but with Akita Neru! I really like this choice because even though the song isn't that ex pl cit the song felt more comfortable when a child isn't singing it. I also like how they used Neru instead of Miku (ik Neru is Miku's voice but the character) Neru's personality fits the song more imo it was also pretty original too. I also really loved how channel animated a cameo of gyaru Miku and Teto from channel's previous school au artworks on their twt. Finally the yellow one that doesn't appear in Mesmerizer was animated by the animator of Mesmerizer! Anyway now I'm yapping TwT. The only thing I missed from the original were all the references in the og MV. What are your thoughts on this version?

people are just stupid for causing drama over like. nothing
nothing in original zaako breaks yuki’s guidelines
channel’s animation for it has some gross scenes but hiiragi magnetite did almost nothing
as for the “small fish” thing, it’s a play on the words as “zaako” can mean either “loser” or “small fish”. so in contrast, the one yuki/neru is afraid of would be a “big fish”
not whatever the hell people think it’s a metaphor to
