Yes. The camera worked, its functional, it just didn't load. In fact, I saw myself. My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 14541.0.0, Chrome 114.0.0.0, No Flash version detected

For me it infinitely loads but doesn’t show myself.

ScratchX no longer works unless you have a version of Flash.

I assume he meant Labs when he said ScratchX. X is just Labs but for Flash

That's not really how it works or what this topic is suggesting.
projects using this feature wouldn't share the project creator's face, they would use the camera of the whoever is viewing the project for face sensing.

I do like this Scratch Lab feature since I think it could encourage creativity: it could be used for creating masks, face controlled games (e.g. using your nose to move a character), etc..
