I tend to suddenly become fond of games that were popular 10 years ago. Given this, of course I have suddenly gotten into Undertale. While I don’t find the “lore” too interesting, I find the whole, “dialogue changes based on your actions and story changes based on your actions” part to be very interesting. As someone who is also fond of some horror games (i.e. Five Nights at Freddy’s), I also find the “no real restart” factor to be, for lack of a better word that is not “interesting”, cool. It’s like One Shot in a way. You can play once. You screw it up? Never again, unless you play elsewhere. Spooooky, am I right? With Undertale, One Shot, DDLC, and other games that break the fourth wall in hand, I have decided to make my own.

Who: Me.
What: I just explained that.
Where: I’m going to create a demo in Scratch to make sure I know how to make it myself. After this, I will start to use other programs such as Game Maker.
When: I’m not sure. All I know is that this will take a while.
Why: Sudden adrenaline rush.

I have no idea where I’m going with this. I barely know any text-based coding, I’m not a good artist nor programmer, and I’m sure this will go nowhere. But, I will try. Isn’t that the point of anything?

I know that the first thing I should do is come up with a concept. Then, I’ll get into designing sprites, then programming, then final touches for the demo. After the demo, I’ll see how well it goes, and maybe expand on it.
