Idk how to make one, anybody know how to detect if the like and heart icons have been pressed?

Technically you can't “directly” detect them. Though from what I've seen, the workarounds for this was to make an off screen sprite located in the position of the fav and like buttons. Then just detect by the sprite location.

That's weird, all the generic platformers do that. Have they all been breaking the rules this entire time?

^^oh idk it was against the rules, but I see many games using that form
