The Stage's Placement ( Scratch 3.0 )
OH GOD WHAT IS THAT(#33)I also am using the left side of the stage:
Bringing this up.

LOL, I mean if you didn't understand any language that was right to left (since other languages that are like that also use it).Already implemented set your language to aribic. What if you didn't speak a language like Arabic though?
Also, that puts the block palette on the right instead of the middle.

(#38)Oh boi…
OH GOD WHAT IS THAT
It's a combination of the experimental theme from forbidden word and the left stage option. Also, that stuff in the code editor is for a game I'm working on.

The placement of the stage as it is set currently was based on research from 1.x and 2.0. Ultimately, we found it was better to have the layout match to the user’s reading direction (block-script-stage). We’re still open to suggestions on layout (it does look a bit too spaced out on big screens) but you might want to keep reading orientation in mind.

Suggestions has different rules, as PaperMarioFan2022 has pointed out. Necroposts don't really exist in the Suggestions forums. Please don't report this to be closed because it's still relevant; it's a suggestion with some merits that hasn't been rejected, and any post on it that develops the topic, no matter how old the last one is, is still helpful. The reason why necroposting is not allowed in other sub-forums is because the topics in those quickly become outdated as time goes on, and any more posts on them are unhelpful because of that. Suggestions don't become outdated; they stay relevant, and thus, new posts are still helpful (providing they're on-topic and constructive, of course). The placement of the stage as it is set currently was based on research from 1.x and 2.0. Ultimately, we found it was better to have the layout match to the user’s reading direction (block-script-stage). We’re still open to suggestions on layout (it does look a bit too spaced out on big screens) but you might want to keep reading orientation in mind.cheddargirl, can you please close this topic? (#41)It could be an option, and it can also be thought of in another way: first you see your current work and decide what to improve, next you've got the tools to do that and the rest is the workspace.
